The ProfKeithDevlin Mathematics Outreach Project (SUMOP) began in 2018 as a lifelong learning initiative of the Stanford University Graduate School of Education (hence the name SUMOP and this site’s URL). Following my retirement from Stanford, it transitioned to a non-profit project of ProfKeith Devlin, which develops and makes available free of charge, educational materials that inform students, parents, teachers, administrators, business leaders, and citizens in general, of the nature, structure, and praxis of present-day mathematics (which are all very different from just a few decades ago).
